Downing St Make’s video against Jeremy Clarkson
Downing St Make’s video against Jeremy Clarkson
Now you are probably wondering why the Prime Minsters Office would be wasted their time and the countries money on producing a one minute video explaining why the presenter from the hugely popular BBC show Top Gear should not be appointed Prime Minster.

Well this all started when one Joseph Dark (Not sure if that is his real name) started an online petition on the 10, Downing St website, the petition was to allow Jeremy Clarkson to run the country and there were slightly less than fifty thousand signatures who agreed with him.
However, the government is well known for not taking any notice of public opinion, therefore decided to not allow the Top Gear presenter to run the country, and indeed actually decided to make the video as a response.
A Conservative party spokesman said: "While the British public is having to tighten its belts the Government is spending taxpayers' money on a completely frivolous project. This shows how detached the Labour party has become from the concerns of the British people."
A Downing Street spokesman defended the decision to record the clip, saying it "didn't really cost anything at all".
He said: "It was a pretty light-hearted petition, so we gave it a light-hearted answer. A member of staff put it together in a spare half-hour."
One thing is for sure support for the Prime Minster, Gordon Brown, is not a great as it used to be and when things like this happen, it does not actually do him any good. If politicians lightened up a bit, people would see them in a different light.
